About
Jobtopgun is one of Thailand’s largest recruitment platforms. I contributed to a major redesign of its job-seeker experience, using research, information architecture, UI design, and system thinking to make a deep legacy product easier to navigate and trust.

Project Overview
My work spanned personas, the application map, search and job-detail flows, reusable UI patterns, and the YouSay/HRsay employer-review experience. The redesign focused on helping different career stages find relevant work, evaluate companies, and apply with less friction.

Challenge
The platform served fresh graduates, experienced professionals, specialists, and senior leaders, yet its structure treated discovery as one generic journey. Years of added features had created a large map with weak hierarchy and inconsistent feedback.
● DIFFERENT CAREER GOALS, ONE FLOW
● A SPRAWLING APPLICATION MAP
Search, saved jobs, applications, resumes, notifications, reviews, and account settings were difficult to understand as one system.
● COMPANY TRUST WAS SEPARATE
Job information alone did not answer what it was like to work at a company or whether a role matched long-term goals.

Research & Insights
Personas covered four career stages with different expectations for salary, location, progression, stability, and company insight. Mapping the full application showed that search was only one part of the decision; resume readiness, reviews, saved jobs, and status tracking also shaped confidence.

Personas
The audience ranged from fresh graduates exploring their first role to experienced specialists and senior leaders evaluating stability, progression, and network value. Interaction preferences also varied from highly visual mobile behavior to more text-led evaluation.

Strategy & Concept
Organize the experience around the job-seeker lifecycle: discover, evaluate, prepare, apply, and track. Use consistent navigation and components, then connect role discovery with company reviews and resume context instead of treating them as separate products.
● SEARCH BY REAL CAREER NEED
Filters and suggestions support job field, industry, salary, location, benefits, and career stage.
● ONE APPLICATION JOURNEY
Resume selection, application, related roles, saved jobs, notifications, and status tracking follow a clearer sequence.
● YOUSAY / HRSAY CONTEXT
Employee and HR perspectives bring company trust and culture into the decision before applying.
● REUSABLE LEGACY SYSTEM
Consistent patterns modernized the experience while respecting the breadth of the existing platform.

Design Outcome
The redesign established a clearer structure for web and mobile, with reusable patterns across discovery, company evaluation, resume actions, and application tracking. The result supported the platform’s existing depth without exposing users to its internal complexity.

Key Takeaways
Legacy redesign is largely an information-architecture problem. The strongest improvements came from connecting the full decision journey—career goal, company trust, resume readiness, application, and follow-up—rather than polishing isolated screens.
